About the Sorting Room
The Sorting Room is a newsletter about postal history. Each entry takes one object, a cover, a postmark, a route or a rule, and follows it back to the people who handled it.
Entries are grouped into volumes by the year they were written. The first volume goes back to 2022, and new entries land in the current one. Older ones stay bound in, with every address they ever had.
The work is done by one editor with a stack of covers, a good lamp and a habit of reading the small print on the back. Corrections are welcome, and so are covers you cannot place.

One short note when a new entry is bound in. There is no fixed schedule, and you can leave at any time.
